• Le Lac Inle
   
Inle which is the second largest natural lake in Myanmar is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Shan State, Inle's most unusual feature is its extraordinary 'leg-rowing fishermen' who have developed an original, eccentric method of rowing their small boats with one leg. Floating gardens are built-up from strips of water hyacinth and mud, dredged from the lakebed. Villages, farms and monasteries perch over the water on stilts. Visitors may observe cottage industries of weaving, netting and cheroot making etc. The silk dresses and clothes of Inle are popular among local and foreign visitors.

The last capital of the Rakhine kingdom from 1430 to 1785, is like taking a step back in time. The temples are situated among small villages in a land scape of narrow valleys and low hills that seems like it has not changed in hundreds of years.

• Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock)
   
An enchanting journey to the land of fantasy. Kyaikhtyo Pagoda known to the world as Golden Rock is in the area of ancient kingdom of Suvannabhumi. This mystical pagoda stands on a gold gilded boulder, precariously perched on the edge of the hill over 1100km above sea-level. There are many legends about the pagoda and the "nats" or "spirit".
